Marsh really did use his personal fortune to hire away all the best fossil collectors from rivals. And the indestructible Charles Sternberg had to outrun flash floods in western canyons. The Skull cards consist of 70 cards divided among nine different categories, some of which will help you and some that may lead to your demise. In Senator, Rome will be faced with a myriad of challenges, such as economic turmoil, revolt, plague, and the wars against Rome's many enemies. SHAKEDOWN

Load all the cards into the spring-loaded bottom of the ShakeDown Tower and steady your nerves. The first player slides a card from the bottom of the Tower and sets it on top. At least two of the card's corners must extend beyond the tower surface. Each player in turn does the same, with the card stack growing wider, higher, and more precarious each time. You must keep any cards that slide off during your turn. As if lifting the loaded Tower to take a card isn't bad enough, when you draw an Action Card, you must do what it says before you add it to the stack. Actions like "Reverse direction of game play" may not shake you, but wait until you have to "Hold Tower and do the Twist!" Play continues until someone draws the final "Top Off" card. Total the points on your fallen cards and hope your score is the lowest, because that makes you the ShakeDown winner!
