Drawing Games

Backseat Drawing

Backseat Drawing is your ticket to giving the directions - artist style! Players split up into two teams, and race to guess what the designated artist is attempting to draw. The catch is only one person on the team (the director) knows what the item is to be drawn. He/she must give step-by-step instructions to the artist! The remaining team members must try to identify the object before the other team successfully guesses their's. On the next round, the role of director and artist shifts to the next players. There are two types of cards: easy (yellow) and advanced (red). The first team to correctly identify seven items is the winner!

Pictionary

After over 20 years in the business, Pictionary is still one of the best loved, fast paced games there is - with no sign of slowing down! The game is just as fun as ever, with a slightly new look. The pawns are shaped like the pencils used for drawing, there is an additional six-sided "challenge die", and there are "fun phrase" cards included for even more fun! The "challenge die" indicates one of the following:
Draw with eyes closed - no peeking.
Draw with left hand (unless your are left-handed - then use your right).
Draw using only one line - no taking pencil off the pad.
Draw two pictures in under a minute.
Draw as usual (no special rules) - this image is depicted on two sides of the die.
The "fun phrase" cards have common phrases such as "Head Over Heels" and are worth two extra points if answered correctly.
With a new look, and a few spicy extras, you will fall for this family favorite all over again!

O.K. fellow Picassos, it is time to get your drawing caps on and beat the timer to boot! In the fast-paced game Sketchy, players are trying to draw an object that fits into a category. For example: The category is Electric/Gas equipment used on your yard. Try to fill in all seven rows (from your individual sheet of Sketchy pad paper) of items that you think would fit (such as lawnmower, leaf blower, riding mower, etc.). After the timer is up, players label their drawings and fold over the description so as not to be seen. Now players are on the timer again to compare their drawings and determine if anyone has a match. After marks have been made, the labels are revealed.
